I admit, I am a wood floor kind of gal! I love the warmth and the feel of wood on my feet. While I was browsing Pinterest a couple of weeks ago I came upon a photo of beautiful space with brick flooring. We usually associate brick flooring with outdoor spaces but those photos will show us that if done right brick flooring fits right in inside as well.

Naked Cakes! That sounds dirty, doesn’t it? Yet, it is not! Naked Cakes lack the outside frosting and/or fondant and believe it or not are beautiful.
Naked cakes has been a trend that has been going on for the past year, but you can see more and more brides incorporating it in their weddings, You most likely will see these cakes in rustic set wedding or a garden themed birthday/bridal shower.
After searching Pinterest I can say I am more and more in love with these cakes!

Wow! It has been a very long time since I have done “Pinterest Your Friday” and I kind of miss it! Even if I cannot find the time or energy to blog or go on Facebook, I will always find time to go on Pinterest (or Instagram, my new obsession). I love when Pantone comes out with the color for the year as well as the different colors for each season. Emerald is the popular and most daring choice this season. According to Leatrice Eiseman, the executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, green is the most abundant hue in nature. The human eye actually sees more of it than any other color in the spectrum.

I have to say I admire the boldness of emerald and although my living room is painted a soft shade of green I don’t think I would be able to have such a bold color in my house. I am more of a “alloy” kind of girl. What about you?
Today is the official first day of summer. Yay! One of the main reasons why I love living in So Cal is that there is a year round sunshine and we get to spend lot of family time outdoors. I remember growing up during the summer I would spend every single day at the beach, swimming and sun bathing, having those lazy summer days. Now life is completely different, trying to entertain a three year old. Busy, busy, busy!
