Tradhome mag

I was so excited when the new issue of Tradhome magazine came out last month. What I love about this magazine as well as the other few that I love is the design they show…the new traditional…casual yet elegant with great detail. Here are few images that caught my eye from the current issue.

Have you heard?

HGTV has a new magazine. The official premier date was yesterday, but I was able to get my copy last week.

The magazine is fresh yet is formatted just like their shows. You can see a little bit of “House Hunters”, Curb Appeal, “Steal the Show” decorating and “Ask a Handyman”.

sorry for the not so great photos

I am not sure if I will be subscribing myself yet since according to Hearst Publications, a second test issue of HGTV Magazine is slated for February/March 2012, with a newsstand release date of January 17. One thing I would say for sure it is worth checking it out.

House of Fifty Magazine

You probably have already heard, but if not the Fall 2011 Issue of House of Fifty is out. It is jam packed with great ideas from some of my favorite bloggers such as Kate from Censational Girl, Courtney from A Thoughtful Place, Carmel from Our Fifth House and even featuring Shelley from House of Smiths. If I could I would so print out all of those pages to be able to read them on my long flight in a few short days. Go ahead and check it out, it’s worth it!

Tradhome Magazine

I forgot to mention to you, my readers, that Traditional Home Magazine as well as the creators of Lonny Magazine have collaborated and created the new online magazine, Tradhome. It launched yesterday.

I have never been a big fan of traditional interiors but I found myself draw to few of the designs featured in the magazine. I loved the neutrals as well as the bold colors used by the designers. It felt very fresh and inspiring.

One of the articles I like is the 24 hrs- A day in the life of two local interior designers.

The Premiere issue showcases 20 designers that to be quite honest I haven’t heard of:

I love the night stand by the bed, the sunburst mirrors, and the arch in the built in bookcase by Jeff Andrews.

I think that Bonesteel Trout Hall Interiors did a fantastic job on the interiors of this home. The architecture of the house is amazing. I love the beams in the ceiling and the arch to the door going outside.

The magazine is amazing and I cannot wait to be able to actually read the whole thing. What do you think of the featured designers? Do you have a favorite already?
