Hope I didn’t scar you for life with my last post. As I said here is something to cheer you up…

It is Friday again! Yay! It has been a very busy week for me with being out of town and dealing with one of my clients! One thing I look forward all week is to Fridays. I love sharing with you what I have found online!

my husband, then boyfriend, came home from being away for a year. I was suppose to pick him up, but someone had other plans for me….

At 6am on that Friday I had just left  Starbucks with my white chocolate mocha that was too hot to drink . I was just on the on-ramp to get on the freeway. The metered light was on. I was in line waiting for my turn. When all of a sudden something happened.

My car was hit from behind. The driver of an medium size SUV was on his cell and somehow didn’t see that we are all stopped at the metered light.

The only way to get out of my car was through the window.

I was bleeding from my head.

I was really mad that there was a lot of blood on my favorite pair of shoes.

(no worries I was able to save them)

I was mad that I never got a sip of that yummy white chocolate mocha.

But I was VERY THANKFULL TO BE ALIVE.

I still am to this day. Thankful to be alive. Thankful that I only had to have staples put on my head to close up the wound. Thankful that with three years of physical therapy (having to go occasionally now to the chiropractor)  my back is doing okay for the most part. I am Thankful that I do not have any permanent visible damage to my body.

I am Thankful to be Alive.

We do not have to wait for Thanksgiving to be thankful for something.

Now that’s a kitchen!

You know who Tyler Florence is right? Well his kitchen is dreamy, you will see this in a minute. Tyler Florence added a 17-foot-island to this Rockefeller kitchen. The reason why he did it was because “we wanted the kitchen to be more like a living room, a comfortable space you could live in every day…Our island is more than just prep space. It’s a casual dining table, a party buffet, a place where your child can do homework or have a bowl of cereal.”

Beautiful Caeserstone counters! When asked why such a dark countertop, Tyler answer was that he is “…not looking at black at all. I’m looking at a reflection of white walls, stainless steel, the blue sky from the skylight. The polished Caesarstone bounces light back into the room.”

This is definitely a cook’s kitchen. I really wished a kitchen like this.

Cute little pumpkin

Are you expecting? You have a friend who is expecting? Or you are neither but would love to see a cute party. When I saw this party I saw so many other possibilities: for example you can use the pumpkin banner and the cake for Thanksgiving, the coffee bottles wrapped with burlap can be used for any party occasion during the fall season.

Okay this party is so cute, that now I wish I knew someone who was expecting so I can throw them a party! Or I can just have a pumpkin party, hmmm!

Have a great weekend!

Pinterest your Friday

It is Friday again!Today is the first official day of autumn and going with my fall theme this week,I decided for my Pinterest to be all about autumn. My in-laws live in Maine and I would love to visit them in the fall, I hear it is very pretty. I hear that the East Coast is very pretty in the fall. I have only visited in the winter so I will have to do visit in the fall sometime in the future.

Fall wreaths inspirations

I use to hate wreaths. I use to find them tacky and very old people. Somehow over time things changed and now I enjoy having a wreath on my door. Now it feels welcoming. I have four wreaths one for each season.

The thing about wreaths is that you can take almost anything that you feel is meaningful, colorful or just fun and decorate a wreath with whatever you feel like. If you don’t have the time to do it yourself or are not on the creative side then find one that is appealing to you and use it. Just have fun with it.

What do you think about wreaths ?
