Holiday/Winter Wreaths

If you follow my blog you know that I confessed about having a wreath for every season. If not you can read about it here.  Then one day something came over me and all of a sudden I think wreaths are the coolers thing…just kidding. I do like wreaths and I even attempted in making my own yarn wreath. They are pretty self explanatory but here is a good tutorial I found. FYI if you decide to make a yarn wreath yourself keep in mind they are very time consuming especially if you have a toddler running around while doing it. They can be done in less than a half a day.

Here is my wreath that I put up on… I guess my mantle, while redoing the cove right next to the fireplace. When we are done you can see what I am talking about. I just have to say whoever designed this place should be fired.

 

What I have learned about wreaths is that they are very versatile. They can be made out of straws, corn husks, paper, yarn, fabric, and the list goes on and on. Of course they can be used for any occasion such as the holidays, a party, a regular home decor. Here is my winter/Christmas inspired wreaths :
