The birthday interview

Just like the “loves” me photo series I saw this circulating online for the past year. I really wanted for Madison to answer the questions herself so I decided to wait for the 3rd birthday to start this. This year the questions are simple and I think as she gets older I will tweak the questions a little bit so instead of “what is your favorite food” it will be “what is your favorite thing to eat for breakfast/snack/lunch/diner?” plus I can add a question or two like “what’s your favorite thing about school?” or “what’s your favorite number?”. You get the point!

What I like about this is the answers. I was recording the birthday interview and couldn’t stop laughing at her answers. There was a lot of singing as well. This will be a great addition to her baby book (the one that I am yet to start, haha) and it’s very easy to do.

Here are the questions that I used for her 3rd birthday interview:

How old are you?

What makes you happy?

What is your favorite thing to eat?

What’s your favorite color?

What’s your favorite movie?

What’s your favorite song?

What’s your favorite thing to do outside?

What is your favorite thing to do inside?

What do you like to do with mommy?

What do you like to do with daddy?

What is your favorite store?

What is your favorite place to go?

Who are your friends?

What is your favorite holiday?

What is your favorite outfit?

What is your favorite toy?

What do you want to be when you grow up?

What would you like for your birthday?

Now I just have to do it every year and on her 18th birthday present her with it. Hopefully she will enjoy it and when she is grown up.
