Are you a Harry Potter fan?

Can you believe it that the last Harry Potter movie is coming out tomorrow? I know that you are excited. How do I know? Well, you are either excited because it’s the last movie and you do not have to hear about it again or you are excited because it’s the last movie and you finally get to see it. See, you are excited! I told you.

Okay, you might not be as excited as I said, but we will let this go. I am a fan of Harry Potter, both the books and the movies. Will I see the movie this weekend? No. Why? I do not have a babysitter. But this is not important. Die hard fans of the series will be lining up to see the midnight premiers, will be throwing parties, will be getting dressed up in robes, you get the picture.

I realize that it’s a little last minute but you can always do this by the time for the premier of the movie. If not, how cool will it be to have a Harry Potter party just because, plus the last movie will have to come out on DVD eventually.  Here are a few party inspirations if you indeed are having a party.

 

 

This party was done by the talented Loralee Lewis. The setting is simply magical from the invitations, to serving  soup in pumpkin bowl with breadsticks for dinner to the dessert table and favors that include Bertie Bott’s every flavor beans and pumpkin juice . Check it out for yourself.

Pretty amazing right and I have to say some of those ideas can be used for a Halloween Party!

I also found a blog where a Harry Potter party was thrown for 16 children. The blog gives great detail on the decorations, activities, and treats.
