Once again this was an easy and fast craft that I was able to do while watching “Sarah’s Key”. If you haven’t seen the movie it is pretty true to the book and it’s mostly in subtitles. I love cake bunting. It makes a simple cake stand up and fun. It can be little flags or a saying. It is simply fun!
Materials:
* paper of your choice
* triangle
* scissors or an exacto knife
* string
* wooden skewers
How to:
First you need to decide on the size of the little flags. Once you have that figured out you can move to step number 2. I used construction paper that I folded and then using the angle of one of my triangles I drew the size of the flags. I cut the shapes with my exacto knife and was ready to move on.
Once the shapes are cut up I taped them down with the string between the folded shape. I alternated colors for my bunting. You can use the same color if you wish.
Place the skewers in the cake to your desired height and wrap the string around them. Done!
